Amazingly tight 2 piece barrel

Hi guys

JUST brought an etek 2 in White/black and put the barrel together for the first time and it's stuck.

I know it's probably my fault but the case I have it in only has space for a 2 piece not a single barrel.

I have tried heat, cold ,rubber gloves, 2 people, shock tighten and release and still it refuses to budge!

My mate has the same problem but has a long space in the case for a whole barrel.

It's frustrating lol!

you do know its on an oppersite thread to other 2 piece barrels don't you ?

lefty is not loosey and righty is not tighty

try undoing it as if you were tightening it up if you get my meaning.

it's amazing how tight it is compared to how I did it up.

If it is that tight I would suggest 2 strap wrenches. One on each piece

chuck it in the freezer and have another go tomorrow

As i have said before , if you actually manage to get it apart then put some lube on the threads and o'rings mate..

I have no strap wrench lol

would the freezer thing work? Concerned that it could cause damage. Only got her today

I have seen your prev post IR when searching. Definetly going to put some 'lube' on when iv done it!!

yup done it a few times when i have bought a gun or two with stiff barrels, from spanners trying to undo them the wrong way

Well lump....... Froze it overnight and tried EVERYTHING again this morning but still stuck

is it possible to send to P.E and get them to do it? It really is impossible!!
