Any ally tank above .5 litre now needs to be tested every five years from the date stamped on the neck, not the date when you purchased it.

Thanks,

Dan.

PS just had to get 140 site tanks tested...which was nice

In the UK bottles are tested to HSE standard. DOT is the american standard. You can be a UK resident and use a DOT bottle, though americans travelling can use DOT bottles.

Only bottle to be able to be used in both countries is the angel a.i.r.
Big style wrong !!! DOT bottles can only be used legally in the UK by NON residents ie american airforce/tourists et al.

I know lots of UK residents do use DOT bottles but tournaments are perfectly entitled to refuse fills/entry to the users

It sucks but those are our laws

The differences have been covered before in other threads and no result was reached other than how the law stands in this country (UK) so until it gets changed, DOT wrong, HSE right

Take an HSE to america as a tourist is fine but choose to live there and you will need a DOT bottle.
As you did correctly say Angel A.I.R. is the only dual tested bottle
so just get the test that applies to the country you are in when it requires it, way, easier why do you think WDP got the bottles made that way....cos one bottle, one market, cuts production costs and stops back ordering
