ok they'll weigh a bit more but they would be so strong,they could checker(whatever you call it) the neck so it never moves in your feed neck and beast of all you could ano them to match your gun!!

The cost would be shocking.
They would have to start with a solid block of aluminum, and shave 95% of it off. That's a LOT of machine time, and a lot of abuse on the end mills.
Can aluminum be stamped? Seeems like sheets could be pressed to the general contours, then use plastic frames for the internal structure to hold motors, boards, and so forth.
could keep the shell plastic and just have week points alu.
like on an egg u could have the battery door and connect points alu (maybe the neck as well) and the rest plastic, if its all black then thre won't be that much difference in aesthetic looks
