I notice there are several training days being held around the country for players, teams and marshals.
Not wanting to miss out on a potential money maker myself and Russell will be holding our first "Insight into a good tournie course" this Sunday. There of course is a nominal charge as BAT and RAT is added to all transactions. It will be indepth and the people who attend the course will go away having learnt a lot about how major issues at a tournie are decided upon.
I think it will be popular so we will hold four sessions
8.15am
11.00am
1.00pm
and the last one at 3.00pm
During the indepth part you will be trained in the art of ordering
Lisa's special jumbo breakfast
How to adminster sauce to the "beast of a butty"
and finally how to ensure my tea has no sugar and Russell's coffee has two sugars. This might sound easy but you have to get Tracy Paint a coffee and she has no sugar.
With three drinks you have to learn the art of getting someone else to carry two of the drinks so you don't burn your hand.
The 11.00 and 3.00 sessions are just drinks so it is for the "entry level" class.
The 1.00 session will have the extra bonus of being shown how to jump the queue without getting penalty points normally refered to as abuse!!!
We will be issuing certificates but you might think they look like bills from Lisa. The key element of the course is you pay for the butties and drinks.
So if you want to learn more about events- book into the Russ and Steve tournament course.
Incidentally you will learn nothing about how to run a good paintball event just how to eat well !!!!
