Hey all,
I'm a bit confused. I bought an Allen key set for my proto SLG, since the one I bought on here didn't come with one. However, the ends don't quite fit the screws - I got ball ends, in anticipation that I might have to come at some of the screws from funny angles, but this shouldn't make a difference. I'm wondering if the difference is between British and American sizing, which seems, as far as I can tell, to be slightly different.
I've been advised (and the manual says so too), that I need: 3/16, 1/16, 5/64, 3/32, 1/8, 5/32, 1/4. These are sizes in inches, and don't directly translate to our metric sizes - pretty close, and I imagine most would work, but is this why the set I have doesn't work, or did I just buy a cheap set?
Any ideas?
Cheers,
