are the allen keys on impys imperial or metric?

what about iframes?

Actually I've been told they vary
Mine are all imperial, but from a brief thread also on this board, it's apparent that some others have different screws with different sized heads.

why couldnt you just figure that out on your own, take a set of matric take a set of american see which one fits

Hee... well the weird thing is that none of my keys from both the metric and imperial sets will fit my maxflo locking cap

My locking cap works fine with Imperials - try again...

Both my old Shocker and my not so new Impy Vision used Imperials, but perhaps my new Impy uses something else... Quite a bitch because Denmark uses metric measurement as standard and Imperial keys are so damn expensive hehe

Yeah, I already did - I tried both my sets, and both sets of everybody else around me at the time who had metric/imperial ones... usually metric ones are too small in an imperial hole, and imperial ones are too big in a metric hole... in this case, the metric was too small AND the imperial was too big. Odd case of an in-between size!


In the end I adjusted it using a random key found in someone's toolbox, which belonged to neither metric or imperial! I think I'm gonna have to dremel one of mine down or else I'll never be able to chrono!




....unless someone tells me that there's another "standard" for allen keys that I haven't heard of.

very weird Have you even tried the Allen keys with the rounded head?? They seem to have a much better fit on everything...
