Hope this hasnt been posted before but did a search and cant find anything.
Was just wondering if paintball markers use imperial or metric allen keys, or if different makes use different kinds ?
Thanks Josh

i would get a set of both, and don't spare the pennies. some markers use imperial, some markers use metric.

Some markers use both.

your local pound shop is your friend - should be able to get a set of both for £1 - i'd actually advise against quality ones, I always lose them long before they break!

Do a search on eBay for Hercules Allen keys. They do a small imperial set and metric very cheap but really good quality. Some of the cheap sets I have had in the past havent been finished well in the ends and tend to ruin the heads of the bolts.

You'll probably only need an imperial set BUT if you don't own a metric set then you know that you'll find one bolt that is metric on your marker, that is really important, that you need to get undone while playing.

For the sake of a few quid, get both.

My recommendation would be to get one good set with both metric & imperial plus some cheap sets. Supplement these with a multi tool

Depending on your marker there could be a manufacturers multi tool, eg dye or Tippmann. Most will do but those are designed to have all the essential tools for their marker models
These are always handy in your pocket, but bear in mind it may be a breach of the rules to posess a tool in the game fields. Especially in a tournament situation

Most often if you see a cheap set of one type they are usually metric, but sometimes you can up complete sets or imperials cheaply in yur local shops. Online there is anabundance of all

Also worthwhile getting ball ended allen keys, they help greatly in tight spaces.

The only metric marker I know is the Angel, majority are imperial like everyone has mentioned
