Recived my new alias this morning and i have read the manual (For what its worth). I need to take the bounce out of it. I have turned up the debounce on the grip frame but its still bouncy.
HELP.
What is the best way to adjust it.I can see the three screws in the trigger but dont want to adjust something and screw it up

...the easiest way to deal with this issue would be via the 'Debounce' settings within the LCD main menu...I dont think messing with the trigger will make any difference...(however b4 you touch it check out Pbnation.com - some good threads there for adjusting it)

...the other thing I'm sure you've heard about already is that this marker is more likely to bounce like crazy in Dry Fire Mode...than in Force or Delay...

...also as a general guide you might like to try the following settings - they work for me:

BIP - 0.5
Bolt 10 or 15
Dwell - 8.5
Eye - Delay
DEB - was originally set at 2.00, I've upped it to 5.00 and its fine...

...remember every gun is not the same...so these might not suit you...but they are a good start...

What board do you have? on teh menu do you have the option for DBounce only or MBounce as well.

With My alias I can get it to bounce with DBounce at 30, but upping MBounce to 2 its basically fine.

As for the trigger, having it too light, and too short causes double shots. make it so that there is a minimum of about 1mm of pul either side of the switch activation, and if you can, tighten up the top of the 3 screws which stiffens the trigger.

I had a hell of a time getting my Alias 100% legal.

And Si is right, you need to always test it with paint as it behave rather different without.

just means its a slightly older version of software on there.

The Mbounce option is newer, you could send your gun back to BLAST to have it done, but I'd only do that if you are having real problems.

From those I've seen, the DBounce option is more effective on the older boards that don't have the MBounce setting.

What settings do you have now? all of them, how is it bouncing too, is it double shooting on a single pull, or is it ramping in strings or both?
