Hi all

Im looking to try and get my hands back on a 2004 Viking, i know there are still a couple kicking about this Island somewhere.But im going to be a pain in the arse & be really specific to say its gotta be a 2004 (last) model with the spring duel detents, ideally dust black grade 3 anno, not bothered whether its milled or not. not fussed whther its WAS/Tadeo board

I don't have a huge budget but i do have a clear dust PM6 to offer as a trade and can add a bit of wonga on top if needed.

Anyone?

Ive seen Dave Simpsons 2003 Featherlite which is really tempting me.

But would ideally like an 2004

With owning both a 2004 Vike and a 2003 Excal I'd have to say if anything the wire detent system is as good if not better than the stock dual front to back arrangement, not tried the twin dual detent setup though. That Featherlite tempted the hell out of me as well and you'd be hard put to find a better marker for the money. Good luck looking and I have some spares and a toolkit if you need any tech help

not a fan of wire detents ill be honest

The duel detent idea is fab, holds the ball in the exact place every ball, consistancy is spot on. Ive owned an 2003 excal, 03 viking and a 04 viking, the 03 viking was amazing but the 04 is slightly shorter & feels a little more sturdier.. best gun ive ever shot by a mile and ive owned alot of guns

Yes, and I'm afraid I'm keeping it as it's one of the best guns I've ever shot. Sorry to try and teach you to suck eggs I see you have more AKAsperience than I by a long shot, but the toolkit offer still stands if you need it
