i want to air my ion up for the first time i no u have to lower the reg but how do i do that?

Please read the manual!

If you dont have one, go to www.smartparts.com and download it.

Read it well from front to back. Then if you have anymore questions, please post again.

Just turn the black nut on the bottom of the reg counter clockwise, it will slowly go inside the reg as you turn it until the point where it wont turn anymore


Normal pressure should be about 180psi on the gauge

But anyway urm its like a safety procedure in case it was set to high in the factory. You only have to do it once in the guns life.

well to see what pressure its at you need to air up the ion anyhow. But turn the black botl at bottom of reg until its all the way in to be safe. Then air up ion and turn bolt the other way until the gauge reads about 160-200.
