Air types

I didn't really know where to post this.

In France, do they use the same sort of air in their tanks as we do?

I'm thinking about buying a bottle from there and was just wondering if it would be legal to use in UK.

make sure the bottle is pi marked - it is the required standard for over here. although i believe it is a european standard (?) rather than just UK so should be the same as that in the rest of the EU....
