My mate asked me a question about air tanks and are they combatible with other markers, eg: Angel air on a cocker, evil air on a angel.. whould it make any diffrence (or totaly not fit) if we did that. Or do you have to have the specified regulator and gas bottle for the marker?

thanks

Its just spyders that have the different screw positioning. Most of the "clones" tend to actually make stuff like that easier!

So can you use an HP preset tank on an Angel fly? Will it void the warranty to take off the regulator, rearrange the springs so that you can use the HP tank if you are having trouble getting it below the 300 fps mark?

For the A4 and Speed you need an LP tank.

If you're using a standard ASA with two-hole bottom line and a screw in air system, just move the ASA to the other marker and move the hose to the other marker, and you're good. An HP preset tank will work with almost any marker, but certain markers (most of the new electros advertised as "low pressure" or "LP") will do better with LP tanks (if you don't know if you own an LP marker, RTFM, it will certainly tell you in there). If you're using an adjustable tank, even better. Then you just have to install the mount for the tank, and install a hose to the marker. An adjustable tank will work pretty universally, as they're adjustable generally from 100-900 psi. If you're still in doubt, sell you're marker immediately, you're likely to blow yourself up :D

:D Which would be bad, possibly funny, but Bad!!! :)

Basically most markers with vertical front regs can take a high pressure screw in system.

For example I can run my pre-set system on my Impulse, Shocker, Cocker and Inferno without problems, the vertical reg does all the work.

But be sure before you go chopping about for fun, Impulses for example will run quite happily if you feed the vertical reg from a high output tank.
Without the vertical reg they will whistle at you from the safety valve, or if you have been dumb enough to remove it you'll probably shoot out your solenoids insides!!!

And Angel air on cockers works very well!
