Hi guys,
I think im going to buy a PMR because at there current price they seam like good value for money. Ive been looking on Justpaintball However I don't understand air systems at all. Basically...
What difference does psi make?
What would you recomend to go with a pmr, prefferably off justpaintball.

Cheers

the higher the psi the more actual air it will hold.

what to get depends on your budget.

aim for a 1.1l 4.5k fibrewrap.

you could start with a cheaper 3k steel/alu bottle, but at the end of the day you will regret it, as many of us have, due to the lower pressure and the heavier weight, meaning you then go and buy that fibrewrap anyway.....

Also, you might want to get one with a high pressure regulator on it, although Low Pressure will work fine too (at really high rates of fire you may get some drop off though).

The PSI is how much pressure the bottle can take, the size is determined by the volume, so a 1.1l 4.5K bottle will hold 1.1 litres of air pressured to 4500psi. a 0.8 bottle is obviously smaller, thus lighter.

Also it appears just paintball havent altered their prices yet. I know for defintite Dye have now reduced the price of the SLG to £120, and im pretty sure the price of a PMR is now around £150 (correct me if i'm wrong) So don't jump the gun and buy from them just yet buddy.

I'd give LIPS a call mate and check this link Lips - PMR

I'm sure if you spoke to John or Chris they'd sort you out with the PMR and a decent air system for a good price.
