It's all about capacity.

The 68ci, is the physical size of the bottle, and the psi is the pressure the bottle will hold.

The more pressure the better, and allthough the higher pressured bottle says 5000psi, you will only be able to fill it to 4500psi, as this is the max pressure available at the fill stations. This may change as these bottles become more widespread, but not yet.

I would go for the 5000psi system if you can afford it, but both will run your marker well. The preset reg must be 800 - 850 psi, eg. a high pressure preset, if you intend to replace a co2 system.

There are 450psi presets availble, they would not be any good for you, if you are replacing a co2 bottle.

A 5000psi system will give you considerably more shots than a 3000psi system, and the 5000psi is a more standard system to use.

The regulator output governs the power from your air system, so the bottle capacity will not affect that.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask if there's something you're not sure about. The change to air from co2 can be a daunting one, but it's a far better source to run your marker.

Probably best to stick to places like Planet, Just Paintball etc, rather than the less, popular places...by the way...your in Esher?

If you know Esher Rugby Club. thats where the biggest uk Tourny is held, Campaign Cup...has been held at Crystal Palace for a few years, but last year was at Esher, and willo be this year i think..so nice and close.

As for air systems, just to add a bit to Tom's reply.

Current standard is 4500psi, being that you get half as much air, again, than you would in a 3000psi tank.

You also get regulators (Reg's) at 3000, 4500 and 5000 psi. You can use a higher preassure bottle, on a lower pressure reg, but not adviseable, the other way around or it may go pop!

And yep, you get different output pressures as well, 850/450 ish on teh presets, and also adjustable systems like Angel Air, Geddon's, Nitroduck Extreme etc.

Bottle sizes: 45Ci (Cubic inch) = 0.8Litre
68Ci = 1.1L
88Ci = 1.5L
