I am currently running a stock autococker on CO2 but I would like to change to air. What air systems/regs/tanks are reliable and are there any systems that are good on a cocker?

I am not willing to spend over £200 because I only just bought the marker and I am also looking into a Freak Set.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanx

autococker air for less $$??

I got a crossfire 68ci 3000psi tank for $130.. not sure what that is for you.. its a fiber wrapped tank too..
you could get a steel tank for $80 --> 48ci, 3000psi

HPA is way too expensive I think.. its worth the cost though.

Check the major stores in uk, but i dont think for that money you can get anything half decent. Best off looking in classifieds of this site for maybe an armageddon reg. This is the reg i have on my cocker and it works fine.

Jeev, currently the cocker only has one reg. The vertical ergo reg on the gun.If you buy an air system it will come with a reg which will lower the pressure coming out of the bottle.

If 4500psi is coming out of the bottle, the air system lowers the pressure to whatever you want, about 600psi in case of cockers. That 600psi then goes into the inline reg, which gets lowered down even further, in accordance with the guns specified operating pressure. Something like 450psi for the cocker. Duel regulation is recommended for all HPA systems, except the Max Flo. Smart Parts clame you don't need a secondary reg.

If you don't get it email me and i'll try and explain better.

The point is if the air system was to fail and the output pressure "spiked" without the secondary reg you could do serious damage to the gun and yourself.

NOTE: Don't fiddle around with the inline ergo regs settings, belsales set it up just right;)

Enjoy:D

Cheers Simon. I do get it but I thought cockers took about 250 - 300psi into the marker? Did I read wrong?
Would a Max Flow fit the cocker?

Thanx

It is the reg on the drop forward as Si explained, a max flo would fit on your cocker, but I would be inclined to purchase an armageddon or angel air. The max flos main advantage though is that you can run it on air or co2, where as the other two can only regulate air.:p
Take my advice and get a air system soon, I`ve found it so much better, no more frezzing up and getting frostbitten fingers :p
