Thinking of buing Air system. Its 3000psi bottle and comes with regs. Its for sale here:

Heres THe Link To It In Classifieds

Anyway as ive just gotten back into paintball, back from when i had a sterling pump, i bought a cheap gun. Its a spyder clone a 32 Degrees Rebel 02 Extreme.

What i want to know is how i would mount this. Would i need anything else apart from the reg on the bottle. All the gun has is a gas thru fore grip.

What else would i need or could i just run it straight.

Sorry if this sounds a bit stupid never used Air before!

Thanks
Ben

Ben has asked me, and to be honest, I think he will need a front reg for the spyder. He also wants to bolt it on a cocker, which I think has a front reg on.So should not be a problem.

Thats why he has posted it here.

I am not good with spyders!!!!

Horrible furry things, and eight legs, who needs eight legs...:D

I thought he was unsure of the style, or fitting position. I suppose a preset would be the easiest, as the spyder would have an asa fitted.

I used to use a PMI Pure energy preset (3000psi) straight through my spyder sonixtra-frankenstein's-marker thingy not so long ago.

I ran it straight through the expansion chamber without a front reg and suffered no ill effects.

As I can't remember what the output pressure on the PMI preset was, this may not be of much use though...

if it runs off co2 then it will run fine off a govnair without an inline reg.......co2 is aroun the 800-900psi range and can spike even higher, most preset regs are set to around 800

only slight difficulty might come from the fill nipples on the govnair reg....they are different to the newer standard nipple, although they can be swapped over to the new ones and i belive there are som adapters around that can be used to fill em
