Can anyone help me, as a newcomer to this sport I don't know much about all the technical things so can somebody explain the difference between air and CO2? Which one is better and which one should I use?

Simple answer is Air.

CO2 is very temperature dependent, usually stored in liquid form - and can very easily freeze up bits of your markers internals.

Air is virtually inert - so no real danger other than the high pressure it's stored under (like CO2 or Nitrogen).

If you can afford it - go for an air system.

Do you know anywhere where I can refill an air bottle? I was planning on attending the Sunday walk-ons at NQ. Do you know if you can refill there? If so, any idea on the price?
