Air leaks!?

It started off with a minor leak from the front macroline connection and an occasional leaked through the fuse bolt.

It's now pissing air through the back macroline fitting, from the macroline connection and the fuse bolt comes un-done when i use it...

and to make it worse, when i walk the trigger the balls start dropping off closer and closer to me, until they're basically falling out of the end of the barrel...

Any ideas?!

OK I dont know anything about the fuse bolt but to sort the leaking macroline: Remove the pipe from the fitting, cut it about 1.5cm shorter, make sure you cut the pipe straight and clean.

That should solve the macroline leak.

If you are leaking from your Macro line, change the macro line for new and make sure that it is long enough or it will leak, if it is the elbow, there may be some crap that has got into it.

As for your fuse bolt coming undone, it only takes 2 full turns to release the bolt cap from the body, any more turns than that and you start undoing the bolt....

Change your battery for a new one in the gun first

Once your leak has been sorted, if you still get drop off, it is either an oring issue or your LPR/HPR needs cleaning. Pay attention to the reg seats in both regs and change them if they look like they have deep marks in them.

My fuse bolt take 1 and a quater turns before it comes out...so i dont turn it too many times...but i still need to screw the different parts back together. They're not completely apart but it takes 2/3 turns to get it to fit snuggly.

The batterie is fairly new, but with the virute board it's meant to last 100, 000 shots...and i've prob been through about 2000 with it, so has a while to go yet.

I'll try putting a new, slightly longer mac-line in and seeing if that works...

EDIT: The leak seems to have stopped, i replaced the macroline like you guys suggested. I still have major drop off, but this could be because i am low on air. I will get my tank filled up and give it another go, if it's still being ****ty then i'll try changing the battery.

Sounds like one of your regs is starving the gun of air.
If you have a good charge of air when you start firing but then one of the regs is not doing it's job correctly, then the available air will get less and less, other than that it's something to do with those pesky macro's and the way that you have it set up?
But then again what do i know?
I believe i'm at the site at the weekend if your still stuck, chuck it to Fiona and i'll take a look for you.

It's an 05 Proto Matrix.

If i give it to my mate ev on friday then he can take it with him as he's learning to marshal sat and sun

the tank will need re-filling, but i think gareth will be down there with his scuba tank anyways...

Jst the marker and the tank? ...or shall i leave the hopper on it as well so you can test for drop-off???

haha, i didn't touch the regs...only the electronics, which i had to...and it's worked fine since then...lol

I've changed the macroline cos it was a bit knackered at ends (already ) but as i said, i think the leak is fixed, it's jst the balls start dropping off the longer i walk the trigger for...may possibly jst be me being low on air...buts it's prob more likely the the regs are just being gay (tht means i dont understand wot they're doing )

Are you taking ur scuba tank down on sat? ...if so could you fill my tank up...and you will get a ticket for one free fill off mine should you need it sometime
