Air leaking from POPS

Hi all,

I've got a slight air leak in from my POPS on a Geo2.1. I've taken the POPS assembly apart and replaced / cleaned parts as in the troubleshooting section in the manual.

The odd thing is, the air sometimes stops leaking. But it's prominent enough for me to want to fix it.

Air is coming out of the little release hole (Pictured) when the bonnet is pulled back.

Any ideas welcome, I'm stuck.

Also... just noticed how at that angle, the POPS looks a little surprised :)

Cheers,
Rich

I always lightly lube my bottle orings, it seems to last longer. Just make sure you don't get lube near fill nipple

Bottle O-rings do not need to be lubricated as they are sealing o-rings not moving o-rings. The only time I would use lube in a pops is on the threads where the bottle screws into if it was really badly squeaking. It is also very important to note that only a grease such as dow 33 should be used. Oil and compressed air is a very, very bad mix.

Take the macro line out and stick the correct Allen Key down the hole (it's a small one) and tighten the macro collar (name?). That fixed a leak I had on mine, twice. It just gets a little loose.
