Ok so I plug my tank into my gun, turn on the air, and air gushes out of the macroline elbow that plugs into the inline reg. It feels like its comming out of the locking ring on the elbow. Is this a new elbow job, or can it be fixed?

Hi

Degas everything.

Pop off the quick release hose, push on the collar and pull the hose,,,

Make sure the hose has a good clean cut on the end and is not damaged in any way.

Have a look in the collar. I have seen players pop it off in muddy conditions and clog the collar up with debris etc.

Make sure everything is clean and reassemble.

After that it may be a new elbow but they are good and cheap :)

Locktite is not a problem. Just unscrew it as normal.

The locktite used is not that strong........ different grades of the stuff......I'm sure there was a thread about it somewhere...........

You don't always need to use locktite or you can use ptfe, £1 from Homebase..
