Question: currently using a Eclipse Eblade factory 2003 cocker, with air Armegeddon 4500 and 1.1L bottle. I am about to play on a Saturday morining in a few weeks at a place that only does CO2. If I were to fill my Bottle with air the Friday night, how much pressure would be lost in 12 hours, (rough guess no physics here). As I know if you leave it for a week it will empty itself.

Any ideas, in other words could I fill it on Firday, hold it over Friday night (would this be safe) then play on Saturday morning???

i guess you must have a slow leak somewhere, if i fill my tank it still has the same amount of air in it a month later!

but assuming you have no leaks etc then yeah you are safe to store the air no probs at all.

on a side note: if you fill your bottle too fast you will heat it up and also when the bottle cools, the air inside will drop in pressure so for exaple fill a 4500 bottle to full but do it too fast and the pressure will drop to say 3500 when the bottle cools......in short dont flash fill, fill very slowly (apart from the fact that flash filling dont help the seals on your reg)

As long as the bottle and reg don't have a leak, then after the initial pressure drop due to the hot compressed air cooling down, the pressure should stay fine.

Most people gas up the bottle initially, very slowly, then after the bottle has cooled and the pressure has dropped, you top it up again to the max pressure. This way you eliminate most of the pressure drop.

One point though have you thought about the amount of shots you will get from one fill, as it will be around 1000'ish.

I have an angel air in my workshop, that has been gassed up for about a month, and hasn't lost any pressure at all. So if your air system is loosing its pressure you must have a leak somewhere.

If you gas up to max on Friday, you should be ok for Saturday.
