Hey guys,
what would happen if I put a tournament (air, pmr 2010) gun on co2?
And is there anyway to modify it for C02?
Thanks
Steve

From what I know, a PMR would brake on CO2. Also, I dont think there is any way to modify it, but air is generally better and much suited to tournament play anyway :)

Bad things will happen. CO2 is pretty inconsistent and is required to convert from liquid to gas. When firing quickly the co2 tends to stay pretty cold and has no chance to convert to gas. This causes liquid co2 to be sucked into the marker freezing o-rings and solenoids causing mega damage. In the old days to combat this the forgrips used to be expansion chambers, but they would cold pretty quick. My suggestion, buy a £30 3000psi air bottle and save yourself a head ache.

A modern Electro-Pneumatic marker has a number of very delicate compnents inside, and CO2 is brutal stuff - it will freeze up and parts, and kill your marker!
