Air bottles in europe

I have heard something about certain types of air bottles not being able to be filled in europe as they are now illegal there but are not in the UK is this true and if so which ones. Its just i have been told my angel air is one of them and its only three years old have regulations changed in europe?

HSE tested bottles are the only ones you can use in the UK, and need retesting every 3 years, DOT bottles in the USA, 5 years, and for europe there is another type of test

Close HSE bottles are now defunct the Pi, PYE, ?? test is now in force for the UK and Europe and the HSE tanks can still be used but they need an intial test at the 3 yr mark and then are retested 5 years later...this has changed for the Angel air tanks only very very recently (they were the last to get the clearence for the 5 yr test) and then they (HSE) can be used until the completion of their life span of 15 yrs...you cannot buy a New bottle in the UK stamped with HSE only the Pi, Pye bottles are allowed to be sold as new...this is since the introduction of the new test.

Incidently Canada does not reconise the 5 year test, thing they are still only allowing a 3 year test cycle, and just to further confuse the issue "technically" only bottles stamped with a TC (Transport Canada) are allowed to be filled and used in Canada, but allowances are being shown but this is not "technically" legal
