Hi was just wondering if you can use air tanks ordered from america in england because im considering it because its so much cheaper thanks connor

generally No as they are tested to differant specifications Pi in the Uk and DOT in the US

No you can't mate, you need a tank which has 'Pi' testing on it, tanks from the US have 'DOT' testing which cannot be used in the UK, as the way they are tested is different I think.

Some are made for multiple markets so may show the additional standards markings.
If it has Pi then it is UK legal.

However if bringing it back by air you will need the regulator removed, so will want one that either has not been loctited in place, or has a user removable regulator.

Bear in mind you won't have a UK warranty and could get asked by customs to pay import duty.
