Hey I am new to this, I have a 3ltr 300 bar bottle for air rifles, and i get unlimited free refills on it, i think 300 bar is around 4300 psi?

What connector do i need to charge an air bottle from this? Its a 1.1ltr 4500 psi.

Could anyone point me in the right direction?

Cheers

Sorry for being stupid, What does purge mean? :)

I don't mind how many fills i get, i'll pay at a site for it to be filled and just use it for home when testing everything.

Thanks

Purge is to release the air once you have filled yoir bottle, some dive tanks like the ones used for surface use will have a purge built on them, tanks used for diving wont and require a purge on the fill station.

Aha! I have one of them, after my gun is filled, I twist it and it realeses the air pressure so i can remove the bottle.

So I have one of them, so I just need some kind of cable to connect the two up?

Make sure you get this right as a mistake could kill. Don't trust your mate to do it, get a professional to sort it.

Ok, thats quite scary....

I took some pics if its any help.....I don't know where to take it to ask??

You use it by, plugging it onto the bottle, make sure its sealed, make sure the valve thing is closed, turn the black bit slowly to release air from the tank to the bottle. When at the levels required turn the black thing to stop the air, undo the valve thing to release the pressure and take off the bottle.

This is what I think about is the purge (its the valve i was talking about above)? You unscrew it after turning the air off and air shoots out to relieve the pressure. http://s690.photobucket.com/albums/vv270/fatrix/Bottle/?action=view&current=Image0095.jpg

The next is the guage, in bar (100, 200, 300). http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv270/fatrix/Bottle/Image0091.jpg

The 3rd is where the air hose screws in. (2p to give idea on size) http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/vv270/fatrix/Bottle/Image0094.jpg

Thanks

Ashley,

You do have the right equipment in your pictures, but i wouldnt try to make a whip or any kind of "blue peter" device to fill your bottle, as Tom said get it wrong and you could kill yourself.

Either buy a new fill station from BZ or lips, or from me;) you wont need one with a purge for your tank so that has already cut the cost down.

Woo, ok, i'm not sure how it works...let me gues, The (Large) end of the non purge fill station goes into the hole on the tank, and then on the bottle it a little silver bit sticking out the side (next to guage) which clips onto the fill station (on the other end)?

Correct?

Thanks for the help :p
