Steel and Aluminium cylinders
In March 2002, European standards for cylinder testing were changed. The familiar old BS 5430 part 1 (steel cylinders) & part 3 (aluminium) were withdrawn and replaced by new standards - BS EN 1968:2002 for Steel Gas Containers, and BS EN 1802:2002 for Aluminium Gas Containers.
I should add that any other cylinders manufactured and certified to other specifications e.g. DOT are not legal in the UK
how ever all last big games i have been to i have been allowed to use the following bottle
Carleton
Born Date 2006/06
4500PSI / 310 Bar
PW310 PH465
TC-3FCM
DOT-E 11005
I am slighly confused now , also does any one no when the ReTest would be on this botte - i was under the belive it was a 5 year test, where these can only be retested 2 times and had 15 year life span
yours should be every 5 years, but are you adamant there isn't a Pi sign anywhere on the bottle or a anythign that says it was tri-tested, if not it s not a UK legal bottle :s
