air bottle identification, help please

not sure but the best people to ask would be hpac

i think (please dont take my word as 100% correct) that the marked pressure is the test pressure not the operating pressure which would make it a 3kpsi bottle.....if its metal then its more likely to be 3kpsi
is the bottom of the bottle flat or rounded?

I agree with matt, it's going to be a 200bar bottle (3000psi). Bottles usually have a Working Pressure and a Test Pressure marked on them and the lower is allways the working pressure.

yup and also you mentioning the numbers being stamped into the metal hints at 3kpsi also as a 4.5k psi bottle made just of metal would be VERY heavy i would have thought, thats why we generally use fibre wrapped bottles to reduce the weight.

also general rule (with bottle used for paintball anyway) is if the bottle is flat bottomed its 3kpsi and if its round bottomed its 4.5k.....not a 100% rule but a good generalisation
