Im thinking of getting a dive tank to fill up my air bottle,
Can anyone advise me on what size? Bar? etc
i will need.
I'll be running it with an ion and probably a 3000psi 1.1l bottle
and then it would also be good if you could explain and tell me about the filling loop or valve i shall need?

Thanks

the standard fill rig will fill any air bottle as long as it has a fill nipple
you just have to see what kinda rig u need to fit ur dive tank

A 232 will be ok but your better with a 300 bar and either an A-clamp or din fill rig depending on your bottle. And where can do get your dive bottles from and how much because im looking for 1 preferably a 300 bar.Pm me details if you can please?

if you only have a 3000psi bottle you're better off getting a 232bar tank as they are cheaper to come by and you'll run less risk of over filling your bottle.

232 bar is 3300 psi
300 bar is 4350 psi

A 12 litre dive tank would give you a day's play (just about) and you can pick up a second hand one (in test) for about £60-80. Some of the scuba related websites may be a better option as tanks on here tend to be a bit rare.
