hey guys, quick question, mayby sir allen could answer it.

my dad who works with welding plants and torches told me about these ARGON bottles that they have in his work that dont have any valves on them, they are 1.5 ltr and about the same as well any other compressed air bottle, so he said why cant u use one of those, and i thought hmmmm good question. i know its a big bottle but im a scenario player who uses remote lines any way. so any input would be kool.

so much for the short question;)

effectively u could use them. But I think its illegal in the UK to fill a bottle with air if it was marked for use with argon..same with co2/air etc.

Without valves on them thiers no point really because the threading would probably be reverse thread (think so).

Just buy a fibre wrap ya cheap skate..:D

Tell what you could do tho mate, use fire extinguisher bottles on your back for high capacity Co2 storage!

I have a load of fancy coloured power-coated Co2 extinguisher tanks that i use for nitrous oxide on my track cars! :D
