Looking at getting started into paint balling played it a few times with some friends but quite like the idea of it and looking at getting into it, have 0 knowledge of paintballing friend tried to introduce me to airsoft but didn't see the appeal

located near newcastle but also have a large family in and around keswick that have farms so i've done my fair amount of shooting

could somebody point me into what i need? basically the top things on my list are a mask and a good gun combo, clothing wise i have enough to get me started... i was looking at the BT delta elite gun and just a generic mask any thoughts?

Spend money on a decent mask first. Better to go somewhere where you can try on a set or two and see which ones are comfiest for you.

Welcome to the forums mate, dont be afraid to ask questions :)

As the others said, a good mask is vital. It's all down to personal preference as they fit differently on different people, but I'll go ahead and give you a few ideas of what you wanna be looking at!

In order of price lowest to highest:
Vforce Grillz
JT Proflex
Dye i3
Sly Profit
Dye i4
Empire E-vent
Empire E-flex
Virtue VIO

None of these masks will fog and they will last you a LONG time so it's best to get a good set to start as opposed to getting a cheap, uncomfortable set and have to replace them often. These start at £65 new but I've seen Grillz go for about £30 on the forums, so its best to have a look around there!

Best of luck getting into this awesome sport!

Also, if you're looking not to spend to much on a first marker I can recommend the tippmann gryphon. Great little shooter and practically indistrucltable, like the nokia of paintball! Easy to maintain so great for a new player!
