Advice on: PMR backcap maintenance

Hi all,

A real quick question for those who have tech'd the new Proto PMR.

I have recently replaced the plastic backcap with a metal one, and I'm wondering how tight I should screw in the little grub screws which hold the BN-16 o-ring against the backcap?

Also on the same subject I guess - should I put a bit of Slik-lube on the BN-16 o-ring so that the backcap can 'slip' against it when the bolt is being screwed in and out - I guess if it isn't lubed, it could destroy the o-ring as it could get torqued against the grub screws?

Hey

The grub screws dont need to be real tight just wind them all the way in but dont dog em up.
apart from that grub screw on the bottom which you would notice was already screwed out partly this acts as a guide for which way the bolt goes in.

i lube the o ring that is actually on the back cap so that it passes the thread easier without damaging it.
