I have recently started marshalling and I would like some info about paintball trousers as I have no idea what to look for and what is a good price for them. Anything will help. Thanks

I am not sure about kesh trousers, but if you can get a set of playing pants make sure you can move well in them, I know that as a Marshall you will want something pretty thick, but baggy is just as effective if not more as it cusions the blow from the ball, prob best getting a second hand set off here and trying them, the last thing you want to do is go and buy a set for £50-£60 and be unable to move properly

You can get some great army surplus goretex stuff for not very much money. I've had my DPM trousers for 5 years and they are still going strong!

A well known online auction site could be your friend ;)

for marshalling you probably just want something that offers plenty of padding. maybe consider if they have venting for long days standing on the field. also pockets or loops to carry anything you may need, such as squeegies, spares, flags, goggle spray etc.
since you won't be properly playing in them and subjecting them to that kind of wear and tear, then anything goes really. if you play as well then chances are that a pair for playing will do just as good a job for marshalling.

Marshalling in winter I wear snowboarding trousers and snow boots. Warm, thick, waterproof. Oh yeah, warm. Did I mention warm??

In summer i wear playing trousers, padded and vented. Pop up a wanted ad with your budget, someone will come along with something I'm sure.

Don't go for a cheap pair because you'll only have problems. You need trousers that can resist paint and you can slide around in without them tearing
