Currently have a 5k 1.1l fibre wrap bottle, after buying something new. I have an invert mini so would like something stubby or lightweight etc, preferbly something smaller than my current bottle.

Cheers guys

There were a coulpe of scare stories and a vido of a venting co2 tank that were claimed to be stako's. There are occasionaly problems but these entail a small amount of air releasing through the fibrewrap. H-pac tested this at CC by putting them in water and seeing if bubbles came out. The problem is sufficiently small that the ban on stakos was lifted and as the MS and H-Pac put saftey first this shows that there isn't a problem with them.

If you are looking for a lightweight and/or shorter setup they realy fit the bill as they are a 68/45 in a compact and light wieght (975g) setup. If you habe the spare ££ its worth it but a 0.8 id always an option, there can be a draw back in how short they are though.

I don't want to put myself or anybody around me in danger buy buying a stacko ( if they are unsafe ) also i don't want to buy an air bottle that leaks air through the fibre, other than a stacko then what other options do i have ? n00b question but whats the difference between the 0.8l and 1.1 l ? ( nobody say 0.3l it wouldn't be funny )

Apart from the 0.3L :p the weight (which is minimal) & the size of the 0.8 is much less than the 1.1, if your a guy of average size or above you'll probly find the 1.1 more comfortable then the 0.8 due to the length.

Stakos are not unsafe in the explosive idea, some can have minor gas leaks due to HPA getting trapped between the internal layer and the fire wrap. Its your choice but at this point i'm happy to shoot mine.
