Hi all,

Is anyone on here really good using illustrator? Ive got a logo that needs converting to a vector graphic for our new jerseys and i have tried teaching myself illustrator over the last week and im just not getting it.

What about photoshop?

Ive had about 6 years experience with photoshop and am quite proficient with the Pen tool.
I could transform your logo into a vector if you wish, if you could just send me the Logo before hand so I can gather an estimate as to the complexity of it.

I Created the logo in Photoshop, but the jerseys are ripped (i guess) in illustrator and it looses a lot of quality, so im not sure if its a photoshop - illustrator issues or a format issue or what really.

jnr, do you have or could you get the rat in black and white (just the line art)? and the font file?

I've put it through vectormagic quickly, lost a little detail and colour but still doesn't look bad. It's just the logo on your welcome page so it has a black background.

If you want to have a look have you got somewhere to send it as I can't upload it to here?

just gave vectormagic a try, gotta say I'm quite impressed, its a utility I've not used before.

Re-drawing it will be the only way to get it spot on, but vector magic wasn't as bad as I was expecting.

Doesnt handle gradients mind
