Adjusting standard shocker trigger on dome switch board

How to I adjust a standard shocker trigger on dome switch board to make it shorter. I have been told that you have to unscrew the dome switch from the board so it stands off the board more, so that the distance between the trigger and the switch is reduced. Is this true.

I' have also unscrewed the trigger frame to have a look, and all I get is a holding screw with a spring behind it, if I loosen it, the trigger becomes very sloppy on the return, so I assume you don't adjust that.

Two ways, one easy one difficult

Easy way...get a Shock-Ya trigger mod from Smart Parts

Difficult (well awkward is a better description) add a solder blob to the top of the trigger, file down as required. Big downside to this you will be able to still fire the damned thing with the safety on so you will need an on/off switch fitted. you will still have all the trigger slack (wobble) so see above really.

Soldering is possible plus, I already have an on/off switch. It's a bit of a bodge job so I might look into the shock ya trigger.

Well i have this prob 2 m8 the best thing to do is order the Werm frame And trigger Of Bruce who posts on this forum .

it puts an L/S switch behind trigger for more adjustment and has 3 screws to adjust i have been told it gets your trigger like an angel pull nice

Also i am about to order 1 for mine in the next week Off (BRUCE) so if you wanna no how nice it feels i will tell ya what i think when i get 1 (PRICE £145.00 inc shipping and vat )

Need any thing for a shocker bruce is the man

Hahaha never said it would be pretty. but it works!! If you have the money the Werm or Hypersports trigger is the only other way both will invole soldering to the board (does say in the manual that you can just twist the wires in to avoid warrenty issues but as a dome switch is well old now that isn't a problem), the Shock-ya is a lot cheaper than the replacement frames its just down to how much money you have to spend...I replaced the frame and the board and put in a Blade...but then I bought the L/S board in the states..a lot cheaper.
