adjusting sear

can anyone give me step-by-step instructions on how to adjust the sear on a cocker? i think i know how, but im not positive, and want to be sure i know what im doing before i go ahead and mess with it when needed

What do you mean by adjusting? do you mean beveling or timing or weight?
