Adding GIF files as your Avatar

I have forgotten how you do this. I have created a GIF saved it in my Photobucket and when copy the link in to the section and click upload i get Invaild File.

Its pointing to a correct link so what am i doing wrong ???

Dont think so. How do you change the size. Can i just use a resizer ??

Hi

Some resizing programs will work but the best thing is usually to edit the gif and remove a few frames and quality till you get it below the required size limit.

The last one I have uploaded on here actually said it failed to upload but it's there been my avatar......

My application of choice is Gimp mate.
