adaptor for pmi hpa for filling?

ive just got a 1.5ltr 5000psi pmi hpa (for an A5) and need to know what i need to be able to get it filled from a dive shop i wanna walk in and walk out with it filled been in one today and frankly didnt under stand anything i was told (they didnt seem to know much anyway) the bottle has a Qd thing for filling it up.


a guy from the fat bobs website sent me here to see if someone called tom allen would help ?

To keep it simple...

1. A scuba shop will fill a dive tank.
2. You then connect a fill station to the dive tank.
3. Then you connect the nipple of you air bottle to the fill station.
4. You can now fill the bottle up from the dive tank.

A fill station can be either DIN or A-Clamp. DIN are more popular due to more dive tanks being compatible with DIN. A fill station looks like this (Pic is of a DIN fitting)

Tom Allen will should be able to supply one to you similar to this but for cheaper.

Although there (probably) isn't any problems with a diving shop filling straight into your bottle, I have not found one willing to do so.

so i could get the DIN fill station like the one in your pic attach that to my nipple on the bottle then take that to a dive shop and get it filled from one of there tanks ?

Correct.

But what happens when you run out of air? You need to ackowledge the fact that you will one day need a dive tank (300 bar).

If you use some brain power im sure you can get 'Tom Allen'(s) username and PM him..

jon massive your right im a nugget LOL ill search the members list and e mail him, i may get a bottle in future i do airrifle shooting as well so would be good to fill the bottle off the gun up as well but at the minute im strapped due to buying an A5 and mask hopper pmi bottle battle pack and upgrades for gun, also i work down the road from a dive shop so would be easy for me to get the pmi filled there with the fill rig, will try to turn my pms on if ican work it out.

Luke, it is a fill station he is selling not a bottle. Ive edited the post to make it clearer. It did look like I meant a bottle though.
