I believe the Maverick's a pump yes? In that case to change the dwell, you'll need to change the spring strength/length in the front and rear springs. There was an article about this in the Phantom Owners Group, but sadly the link is down - try re-posting this in the tech forum and you'll probably find someone who knows more.

I'm afraid I'm a little rusty as to what does what in a nelspot spring assembly marker, but if you change the spring strength, or clip a couple of coils off, you alter the push and compression of the spring, and that affects the dwell. Just not sure which one needs changing :rolleyes:

Best bet is to get a spare spring set ('cause this will be useful anyway) and swap some around and see if this solves your problem. Just change one at a time, so you have an idea of what's changing and de-pressurize the marker before dismantling it each time.
