The Academy on Saturday the 18th is going to be called off due to the lack of interest, i did have Pro cap to sponsor the Academy with cheap paint and prize's for players, ( THANKS SPIKE ) but not one person enquired about the day, so i must be doing something wrong But if anybody needs any help with training just let me know.

You are more than welcome Twizz. It's a shame the players did not respond to it. Have fun at HB.

What's wrong with you younger players - this guy was willing to train you, had arranged lots of high profile people to attend the sessions (some loaning kit to assist) and above all he was doing it for free as he thought our sport needed something back in the UK. Think of that a Nexus coach training you for free - now I wish I had that when I started out all those years ago.

Shame.

Tragic.

I'd have given anything to have proper training like this when I started out, anyone who passed this up should really reconsider their priorities seeing as pros generally know things you dont and can spot exactly what you're doing wrong.

If you oculd only train once this year, would you go to a scrim v. another punter team, or a dedicated pro-clinic?

I agree, would have bought tickets instantly if I could have afforded it. But just dont have the money to buy tickets for something, travel half way across the country on public transport with all my kit, find somewhere to stay overnight etc etc

It's not always about people not wanting to do things, a great many people will just not be able to afford it.
