hoping someone could give me info on whether or not i should bring my PB gun to england or if there are regulations against it. I will soon be moving and im hoping to take them with me. some info would be greatly appriciated

Hi sparklie here welcome,

I am not the most qualified member of these boards, Hotpoint ukpsf tecnical adviser a lovey chap or Bully Steve Bull chairman of our UKPSF would have full up to date info.

If your gun is one shot per triger pull true semi then your gun will be fine. In engalnd only true semis are legal if the board in your gun ie a shocker can have a lock so you can use those other 2 modes then as long as the lock is in place and it's set to the right mode ie true sime your fine.

The main diffrences in england are the bottles and gasses. We only use HSE not DOT bottles. It is illegal to fill DOT and no tourney air sorce will fill it. Also Nitrogen is ILLEGAL here so only air or Co2. I hope this helps drop me a line if your going to be playing in the south.

keep safe happy ballilling :)

At the rate of sounding stupid (which i do anyway so well) what is air? other than what we breath. Cause Sparklie said Nitrogen is illegal (and being how i'm stillon CO2) I thought air was nitrogen.

So i was just wondering what it really was. Sorry to be a pain!!

As Sparklie said look out for Bully or Hotpoint. But places like Sparklies site allow walk-ons and have the academy that takes place for like minded ballers. So whatever aspect you want to look at being legal or is there any way to play. See Sparklies for legal comment and there are sitess that allow people with their own marker.

Air is made up of a mixture of gasses. True, the biggest amount is Nitrogen (coming up for 80%) but there's also Oxygen (a little under 20%) plus Carbon Dioxide & a couple of others in very small amounts. Pure Nitrogen is illegal for use as a propellant in the UK AFAIK, but compressed air is just that - the stuff that we breathe compressed and cleaned. However, they seem to act in the same way as far as marker operation is concerned so if you have a standard air system then Nitrogen can be run through it without changing anything, & vice versa.

Maddogkwl - in summary you can bring your equipment with you as long as any fire modes other than true semi are locked off so you can't get at them (e.g. no burst fire or fully auto), but you will probably need a new bottle unless yours is dual tested to HSE as well as DOT and is new enough not to have needed testing.
