Hi guys, Having problems removing rechargable batteries from my a5 e-grip. I fear one day I'm going to snap the wires as they will not slide out easily. Any one had this problem and is there an easy fix. My re-chargable batteries are uni-ross £7 and energizer £7. So not cheap. The energizer will not fit into the egrip at all. Normal batteries are fine.

most people would probably say don't use rechargeable batteries as they do not typically last as long or have as high an output as normal batteries. This would be doubly so if, as you say, the rechargeables don't fit you marker very well and std ones do.

I've been using rechargables for the last 4 years without problems, but unfortunately they do tend tobe very slightly larger than normal alkaline 9v.

I've always tended to find that when rechargeables start to go they then drop to nothing very quickly, std alkalines have a more gradual drop off. Depends what sort of games you're playing as to whether that would be an issue. I haven't seen many tourny players running their markers on rechargeable batts though

Yeah had that myself, with duracells bit tight in the egrip, try loosening off the screws on the grip a little bit, not so much everything is rattling around but just a 1/4 or 1/2 turn each at a time, sometimes they can be over tight.
