i was thinking, cuz my friend has one on layaway w/ response, the cyclone feed says its powered by your air source, and the response uses excess to recock, so it would have to use extra air to keep it(cyclone feed) spinning, it's sorta like using your air as a battery for your hopper so it would drain faster, right?

no, it uses excess gas, not used by the paintball to power it, all the tippmann 98's just lose this gas, so tippmann thought they would be clever and use what was lost, to power something else.

I hope you understand.

yep tippmann:rolleyes:
dude even if you can(but you can't) don't;)
there ugly and feel like there going to shake to death:eek: ,it will be a waste of a good marker

Mine cost me £40.
It was a bit of a fixer upper though. (cost almost another £10 for parts to fix it)

I think you will be looking at £50 for an A5 cyclonething (the A5 is about £100 more than the 98) then you have to work out how to actually mount the thing so it works, and then buy the parts to hook it all up.

Plus at the end of it all it wont be rapid and sexy like a halo.
