a5 + co2

took my a5 out for a play yesterday and ran it on CO2 . all was fine for a while, no freezing on the marker but the hopper which is turned by the air/co2 stopped working.. i had to manually turn the paddle using the little push button. i was looking to sell the a5 but if this is a problem other than the co2 freezing the pipe up then im gonna have to take it off of sale. dunt wanna be selling dodgy stuff

anyone had this problem in the past. the paddles move fine when pressing the little button but wouldnt turn when pulling the trigger. it was a rather cold day and the co2 bottle has an anti syphon tube fitted.

someone told me this happened to them and leaving it to thor resolved the issue but as i say i dont wana sell this just to get a message back that its not working

any help appreciated...

its drawing liquid,the velocity is prob too high which means the gas is all behind the ball and not turning the cyclone.

try turning it down and see what happens.

cheers jon. it had a flatline barrel on it and was shooting a shorter distance than the site markers which were being used *wouldnt be suprised if the cheating cnut refs hadn't turned their fps up though *

would it still draw liquid with an anti syphon tube fitted? i thought that was to stop the liquid entering the marker.

depends on if it was done properly,the bottle will not always stop in the same place on each gun so it has to be set for one specific gun.If you have used someone elses bottle it could be completely wrong and acting as a syphon rather than anti syphon.

turn it down see what happens,if you are still having problems give me a buzz.

i,ve heard a few storys about the cyclone stoping and was said that it was the rachet failing,also now that u r home gas it up again on co2 and see if it still works,if it dose,nt then maybe the rachet is knacked after all,just a idea
