A4 Pin unlock problem

Hey guys,
After lending my A4 to a mate for a game it came back to me locked out with what I presume is the PIN function...

The manual says:
"if locked, display will read PIN", and "if unlocked, the display will flash between the firing mode and the serial number"...

Now its doing the latter, suggesting unlocked, yet wont switch off safety (or go into menu, so its not just the button)...

I bought i 2nd hand, so emailed the guy asking if he knew what the pin was, but its likely Ive fiddled with it a while ago and not taken any notice...

Does anyone know if theres an override code, or reset button etc etc... Or indeed why its not saying "PIN" if its locked....

Check the trigger verniers havent been wound in too far, sounds like the trigger may be pulled in when you're turning it on.

Hmm, yeah that might be true, Ill check it out, which would put it into text input mode not 'locked' mode...

Any other ideas?

I had the same problem after setting up my trigger..........had wound it nice and tight, just backed it off a little and was fine.

I actully rang WDP and asked for the factory settings for the pin function...they just laughed at me!!!!

Try the trigger first.
