A4 board in an IR3?

A little while ago i was reading about some guy on the AO forums that managed to get an angel A4 board into his IR3, it all sounded rather nifty but is this widely availabe?

ie will an angel tech over here do it for you? if so what sort of cost? what are the advantages/disadvantages likely to be?

The MT conversion for the iR3 will be out soon.

Then it'll have 'eyes' as well.........

Downside.... has to be sent to the states......

edit: i was being wet, what does the master tech kit include?

It would just be a replacement board, as they are the same size, and i think the display is the same as the ir3, so it's just the board you need.

To upgrade, i would wait for the eye conversion.

Def wait on the eye conversion, I have fitted a A4 board to an IR3 have to change the battery as well, you get obviously all of the A4 functionality with the exception of the low pressure, so 32 bps Decent COPS/ Sensi software

The 'A4 mod' consists of An A4 board and battery.

The solenoid remains the 6V version.

Improvements are: Higher MROF, Bent opto switch lever (allows much better trigger setup), SENSI instead of COPS.



I have an A4 battery and board for sale here if anyone wants to make me an offer
