Sponge Bob's recent post got me thinking.

No training site in the North West is a bit poor.

I understand that NQ closed because of planning "issues".
Proaktiv closed for similar reasons.

I know that Asylum Paitball at stockport have an indoor reball are, but I don't know how big it is etc.

What to do?

I am thinking about an association of players, no go with me on this.

Cricket clubs , Football clubs all exist and are able to support large areas of land, some even have bars and pool tables ;-)

Most paintball centres are commercial ventures and someone needs a profit to live off, I don't object to this, but is it Vaiable at the moment.

So what do I think, well hows about a paintball club, paid for by members and maybe sponsors, owned by the members, could it work I hope you will add your two penneth. Pls ask your mates what thy think and to contribute, no one of us is as smart as all of us.

What could work, What could go wrong etc.

if you want to talk to me about this pls drop a post in this thread on contact me by PM.

The floor is yours.

there needs to be like a site in every county that is decent and has teams there all the time...

Look at america

Every site there has about 4 -5 teams down every time.......

But is the money cost over there as bad as over here......

Only time will tell...

But more training sites around the UK...

As well as more teams would be awsome........

A lot of work and trail and error has already gone in to this area.

Clubs are an idea that many individuals / organisations would like to see developed.

The questions are: how should clubs be structured and what's the best way to get them going?

Power to the players, I say, with a guiding hand from the industry to help kick start a revolution.

Pilot projects, existing clubs, trials, development of best practice, etc - its all already underway. ;)
