A friend of mine originally set this up as a group on facebook, but it being such (in my opinion at least) noble idea I thought it worth posting here.

I, like many of you, disillusion myself each day with the notion that i am a fundamentally a good person. But, also like many of you, i don't give money to charity... i make no effort to help others by volunteering... nor do i run marathons, or push myself to do incredible tasks with the intention of raising money or awareness for good causes.

In fact, i dont do anything to help contribute to improving the welfare of people less fortunate than myself. A good person? - Questionable.

SO with this in mind, i urge everyone to do this for me.... take 30 seconds, i **** you not less than a minute, to change a persons life... maybe 2 people... maybe as many as 6 people's lives, without spending your beer money... doing your back in... or leaving the comfort of your cosy living room - without any impact on your life whatsoever yet the power to give it to someone about to lose theirs.

Think about this - would you turn down a heart transplant if you needed one? I didn't think so.
You can register to be an organ donor in less than a minute (literally) here:
https://www.organdonation.nhs.uk/ukt/RegistrationForm.do

I'm sure there are people on here who know or a friends/family of those who have either received or are awaiting an organ transplant.
It's a simple thing, being apart of a register that will have no real affect on your life, but it does mean when our time is up, a person in need can be given the gift of another chance.

Cheers for reading guys.
