Stick,

I looked into this way back when I used a Sterling as my first marker. There were many rumours of a semi-conversion kit for the Sterling, (effectively turning it into an autococker) but it was never to be.

Some paintball tech-shops (the only ones i've seen are in the states though) may be able to engineer a special, turning a Sterling into a Semi. But there's no "Off-the-shelf" kit available.

Sorry 'bout that

nope there never was a coversion kit to make a stirling semi....the soverign aka the stirling semi is actually a marker in its own right rather than a coverted stirling.
to convert a stirling would be very hard due to the way it works, ive never seen one done.

It can be done, in my search I did find a couple of shops (in the states) who claim to have done the conversion and priced up the cost for doing it on their website.

I may have the link on my PC at home, i'll take a look and if I can find them i'll post them once my net access is back up.

It'd probably work out too expensive and too much hassle though, so unless you're heart is set on having something pretty unique, bin the idea and get a cheap blowback instead....
