A rare tyger pic... using a semi? In a tournament?!?

Believe it, or not.

Stalker Paintball Games , Lyndon Staton, WI. 5 man tournament, playing on Team "Jump".

They've got a pic of me crawling the snake on the 'pipes' field too. 6'4" tall, 250 pounds, and I'm the front guy?!?!? :D :p

Proof that, yes indeed, Tyger can play hardball. Just filling in on the team, sure, but as a scrub player, I did my damage. Bumped a team out of the finals by 8 points by getting first pull on them... :)

Good eyes Manike!

Yes, it's a Palmer gun. A Stroker, built around '92 or '93. I've had it since '93. a decade of "Shootin' Foo's" with it. Actually, I got a lot of reactions like C-Rules. MY favorites were the few guys who approached me after a game and said "For a pump you can shoot that thing REALLY fast!"

For those of you who don't know... The "Stroker" was built as the original Autococker. Glenn built the thing back in '86 or so to automate a Sheridan pump gun. "If I can't out-run 'em, I'll out shoot 'em." Now the debate has raged if Glenn or Bud built the first one, I'm sticking to Glenn's story because, between you and me, his answer to a self-cocking mechanisim is more elegant and makes more sense.

The 3-way is in the grip, the reg is on the fornt of the gun (under the barrel, you can see it there), and the ram is on the opposing side of the picture, and isn't really that big. All the working parts are "hidden", not hanging off the front. I like my Cocker, sure, but the Stroker is more elegant. On Nitrogen she's an air hog, but the gun is more elegant. (600-700 shots off a 68 CI 3000 PSI tank... if I'm lucky... It's a good thing I never shoot more than that...)

And Jalahad, I guess it IS A pump player's semi. It shoots like a pump, just a lot faster ROF.
